PYBUS ANNEX EXPANSION & EVENT CENTER - WENATCHEE WASHINGTON
This project starts out as a design competition.... and we won this phase as Jury's Choice as well as the public's choice. The next phase of the project was the preliminary design and that is what you see represented here. The program expanded and the building design continued to take advantage of the site, location, views, and leveraged the opportunity into an event center that would compete with other venues in Wenatchee.
Vision:
While keeping the industrial design vernacular.... and adding a strong visual outreach to the community...... the concept is intended to visually and logistically draw people to a place where they can enjoy the surroundings while experiencing the Public Market..... and further, be connected to the park and trail system. All of this takes advantage of the connectivity of the components of the site....enhancing the experience of the Market.
